The third area that our donations in 2016-2017 funded is Assisting Families Gain Financial Strength (4,147 individuals)

- Butte 4 C's - Quality Early Care
Events:
- Community Baby Shower - 18 moms and moms-to-be received diapers, clothing and supplies
- Dress a Child (92 volunteers) - 186 children received clothing and school supplies to begin new school year.
- Stone Soup (32 volunteers) - Participants contributed ingredients to make nutritional soups that were donated to the food bank.
- Day of Caring Action (22 volunteers) - Participants painted and cleaned the Kiwanis Sunshine Camp and Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel.
