DRESS A CHILD
United Way of Butte and Anaconda provides funding for low income children from Butte and Anaconda to receive new outfits in preparation for the upcoming school year. In August of 2022, we had 106 children receive school clothing. This event, held at Walmart would not have been such a success had it not been for the 70 volunteer shoppers giving of their time to shop with these children
STONE SOUP EVENT
United Way of Butte and Anaconda Stone Soup events are held in February. We had one day in Anaconda and several days in Butte. Offices and organizations signed up as teams. This year we did bags of soup ingredients. In Anaconda, we had 12 volunteers who prepared 121 bags. In Butte, we had 52 volunteers who prepared 181 bags. The bags of ingredients were delivered to the Butte Emergency Food Bank and Anaconda's Project Care for distribution.
DAY OF THE CHILD
This year's Day of the Child was March 25. The theme was Remembering Fables and Fairytales. Nine partner agencies participated with 23 volunteers. We had 73 children participate.

Our Day of Caring will be held in June this year
TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS STORIES
For 12 days in December volunteers read Christmas stories at local daycares.
ANGEL TREE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
A tree is put up in the Mall with angel ornaments for low income senior citizens. Anyone can take an ornament and shop for that person using their request list.
