A couple months ago a woman who had been coming to the food bank on a regular basis for years returned once again. The difference this time was that she was not there to pick up food. Instead, she handed us a check for $500! She simply explained that "her ship had come in". She has not been back to the food bank since. It makes one happy to know we helped get through some difficult times and when her circumstances changed she wanted to help others.
